The Judgeship of Jharsuguda commenced on 24th November, 2011. Until 23rd September, 2011, it was under the jurisdiction of undivided Sambalpur. The District Court is functioning in a new building having 11 Courtrooms. The facilities available in the building include lift, ramp for differently abled persons, e-Sewa Kendra, and VC Cabin. 16 different Courts are functioning in the Judgeship with one outlying station at Lakhanpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Court and Office of the District and Sessions Judge was inspected on 26.12.2024 by Justice S.K. Mishra, Administrative Judge of Jharsuguda Judgeship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
