Advocate, President of the High Court Bar Association Assumed Office on 03rd April, 2024
The High Court Bar Association, Orissa, Cuttack was registered on 5th September, 1961 under Societies Registration Act, 1860. Mr. L.K. Das Gupta was the first President and Mr Gangadhar Rath was the first Secretary of the Association. Presently, the Bar Association is headed by Sri Bijoy Kumar Dash, Advocate as the President and Sri Ranjan Kumar Nayak, Advocate as the Secretary of the Association.
The office bearers of the High Court Bar Association were elected on 30.03.2024 for a term of one year.

Lawyers’ Day Celebration
The 176th Birth Anniversary of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das (Madhu Jayanti) & Lawyers’ Day Function was celebrated on 28th April, 2024 in the Convention Hall of the High Court Bar Association. His Excellency the Governor of Odisha Shri Raghubar Das graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh, the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court, also graced the occasion & inspired the learned members of the Bar through his valuable speech. Dr. Justice B.R. Sarangi, Judge, High Court of Orissa was the Guest of Honour, Mr. Ashok Kumar Parija, Sr. Adv., the then Advocate General, Odisha, was the chief speaker, and the event was presided over by Mr. Bijoy Kumar Das, Advocate, President of the High Court Bar Association.

Symposium on the three new criminal laws
A Symposium on three New Criminal Laws “(i) The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, (ii) The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 and (iii) The Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023” was organized on 29th June, 2024 by High Court Bar Association, Orissa, Cuttack in collaboration with Odisha State Bar Council in the Convention Hall of the High Court Bar Association.
